AWPI Forklift Operator Training Program

AWPI Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) Operator Training Program

Forklift operator training delivered at your site, using your equipment. Our ‘site-specific’ training consists of a combination of formal instruction (e.g. lecture, discussion, and written material); practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and exercises performed by the trainee); and evaluation of the operator’s performance in the workplace.

The 4-hour class includes a visual presentation and discussion on Powered Industrial Truck and workplace-related topics covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178, review of the Operator Manual, a Pre-Shift Inspection, and Operator performance evaluation. During the practical training, the trainees complete a Pre-Shift inspection on the equipment as a group to ensure operators know how to complete the required task. A series of operational functionality tasks is defined then outlined for each operator as they are evaluated.

Special Attachment training (if required) is also incorporated into the program, let us know which attachments you have when calling to get a quote and scheduling the training.
